MAP-3D is a 3D virtual reality system by integrating some entities such as spatial data, building, road, road appendage (mark and traffic lights, etc.) and afforestation. This system, which is used in quick display of mass 3D data, adopts OpenGL database technology. Users can observe real scenes from different heights and angles at different locations by means of walking, vehicles and flying so as to achieve unparalleled real feelings. This system can be applied to urban planning and construction, road / highway planning and design, road traffic management, digital zone, highway information management and other fields. Besides, users can also use secondary development interface program (MAP-3D SDK) to embed this system into their own.

1)Observing angle can be rotated in any way in 3D scene according to different requirements, and observing location can be moved and changed.


2)Supporting 3D data conversion of “UC-win/Road”. Furthermore, 3DS format can be loaded into this system to provide various sources.
3)Introducing SQL SERVER 2000 in local area network (LAN) into 3D data centralized management so as to achieve the goal of data sharing.

4)LAN users are entitled to two identities as "advanced user" or "general user". Advanced users are entitled to create / edit / delete data while general users are permitted to browse data, but cannot modify, edit and delete data.
